Lower Body Armor Protection
In operations, shrapnel poses a risk of hitting the legs, and the femoral artery can suffer fatal blood loss. Ballistic pants armor the thighs/groin/knees with NIJ-standard UHMWPE panels – while standard tactical pants offer abrasion protection but cannot withstand bullets, this design maintains freedom of movement.
Ballistic Pants Features
In the event of shrapnel hitting the thighs during an explosion, flexible panels absorb the impact, while the Cordura/Ripstop outer fabric resists tearing. Articulated knee cuts do not restrict running/taking cover, waist adjustment provides a secure fit, and lightweight polyethylene offers everyday comfort.
Real Scenario and Advantages
In the explosion zone: Shrapnel may hit the legs – UHMWPE panels protect the femoral artery.
In CQB movement: Restricted movement – articulated cut provides freedom.
On long patrols: Risk of fatigue – lightweight material does not tire the legs.
In the event of abrasion: Environmental abrasion – Cordura fabric offers durability.
